Authorized statement by Droguería Betances in regard to civil complaint for regulatory oversights

Nov 6, 2023 (San Juan, PR)- Drogueria Betances, a leading Puerto Rican
company in the distribution of pharmaceutical, health and beauty products, as
well as veterinary products, reported that it has reached an agreement with the
U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico. This agreement is related
to regulatory compliance in the handling of controlled substances during the
period 2016-2019 and was jointly filed pursuant to the Controlled Substances
Act
